Create/modify sellers

Magelia WebStore is a software program that is able to host several sellers on the same technical platform and several stores for each seller/vendor. These advanced features of Magelia WebStore are available with the Professional version.

Warning! Be extremely careful if you modify the settings for a seller. These settings are irreversible.

How to? Define the seller settings:
- Code: Each seller/vendor has a unique code.
- Active: If checked, the seller is active. If the seller is inactive, the seller’s stores are not accessible.
- Unit of length: This information defines the unit of length used by the seller, and therefore for all the seller’s stores. The chosen unit of length chosen will be displayed in the creation screen for a product, for example.
- Unit of weight: The same information for the unit of length applies to the unit of weight, but in terms of weight.
- Culture: The concept of “culture” takes into account the language differences between several countries or within one country. A culture is most often defined by a country and a language (for example: American English vs. British English), but can also be defined just by a language, such as English. Refer to the specific help topics that address Cultures for more information.

The Functional Properties tab specifies stores, warehouses, catalogs, and product types that are defined by the seller.
These settings are only displayed here and cannot be re-assigned to a seller or different place. To modify these settings, go to the menu that corresponds directly to the topic that you would like to change.
